If a power strip is rated 1,800W (15A), how do I figure out the maximum wattage for each outlet in the strip? Do I divide 1,800 by the number of outlets to get the maximum wattage for said outlet on that strip?

IF the power strip is rated 15 A, then each outlet in the strip should be able to provide 15 A on its own. The total current should not exceed 15 A either, so plugging a 15 A load into one outlet means not using any of the other outlets.

Or, you can use any combination of smaller loads, connected in any order, as long as the total load that can be turned on at the same time does not exceed 15 A.

However, do check the rating on the power strip. Some are rated for only 10 A, or some other value less than 15 A.
